Lil Blue grew up in the cold streets of Los Angeles California, and got involved in gangs at an early age. At the age of twelve, juvenile hall became part of his life, always in and out. There in juvenile hall he found his passion, with music. Having nothing but time in his hands caused him to start writing rap songs representing his neighborhood and his southern people. He quickly started getting recognition by rapping to his homies, and he was always told about his great potential to succeed in the Chicano rap industry. At the age of fifteen he escaped from the Visalia Camp Facility, and was on the run for several years. He ended it up in Yakima Washington at the age of 17, and quickly affiliated with the southern gang-members in the area. There in Yakima, he continued to get recognition by rapping at house parties here and there, but it wasn’t till the age of 19 when his music started becoming more serious. His brother Lil Man recognized his great potential and started investing money in his music, and released his first album called Summer Season in 2011.
